Global Trade Features - China crisis? Not at all

It looks like Europe’s sovereign debt crisis is yet to touch China as its exports leapt 48.5 per cent in May.
This year-on-year jump of almost 50 per cent beat analyst expectations shows the world’s third largest economy is, so far, being shielded from any European woes, despite the EU being China’s largest trading partner.
These figures indicate a recovery but will it be long term or temporary windfall?
Another million dollar question is, how long the Asian behemoth will continue to freeze the yuan against the dollar? Something that it has done since the start of the global economic crisis in late 2008.
